I love these kids more than anything in the world.

But. I've realized lately (probably because I have two kids now) that it's hard. Hard to exercise. Hard to find quiet time. Hard to grocery shop (or shopping, period). Hard to shower. Hard to fulfill my calling. Hard to keep my house clean.
But. If having these two gems in my life means hard, I can do hard things.

p.s. Any suggestions or ideas for the aforementioned?

  1. Hey this is Brittany, your old roommate. I agree with you 100%! Once I had my second, I found it hard to do things. The one thing I have done that has helped me a ton, and that I look forward to almost every day, is I make sure that both my kids nap together. If Kloe doesn't nap, have her take quiet time in her room while Mitch is napping. I have found that this gives me my alone time and the chance to get things done that is a little harder to do with having 2 sweet ones to look after.

  2. Thanks, Britt. My kids take naps, just not scheduled naps. It's definitely my fault for not setting up a routine. I really should stop being lazy about it because I think your suggestion is a good idea.
p.s. You should invite me to your blog; I would love to keep up on your little family.
