just another day in paradise...

The weather has been so NICE the past few days here in Eastern Idaho, so we took advantage and did some fishing Saturday afternoon/evening on the South Fork of the Snake River. Ryan and Amber came with us, which was SO much fun. (I have come to the conclusion that they're perfect.)
Jesse drove us to some places he likes to go, and supposedly where he has had decent luck in the past. Our first stop was fairly successful, but the river was unusually high and the current swift. Jesse and Ryan both caught a small trout, but nothing too significant. Amber fished for a little while, then helped me chase Kloe around. (Thank you, Amber!)
The weather, like I mentioned earlier, was perfect! It was one of those days where you could wear almost anything you wanted.
After a couple of hours and a couple of fish later, we moved on up the river to another "lucky spot". By this time the sun was going down and getting chilly-not to mention the mosquitos were making an appearance. So, I stayed in the car with Kloe for a while, then decided to buck up and get out. Jesse caught a couple of large brown trout , then let Ryan use his pole to see if he could get anything. Sure enough, he caught one right as we were packing up to go.
We had such a great time. I love spending time with my family, especially Ryan and Amber. They are so good to us, and such good examples. I couldn't have asked for a better day.
Amber, happy as always!
Jesse at the first place we stopped.(I didn't get a picture of the fish he caught.)
Ryan's first catch of the day!

Spring Adventures

We managed to find a few nice (well, at least sunny) days to play outside.

At the zoo...
We went with Jesse's sister and her four kids.
(Pieran, Kloe, Dunken, Marisa & Ronan)
We got there about an hour before it closed, so towards the end of our tour, they had put some of the animals away for the night, including the tigers. I was bummed, but we did get to see the lions.
Kloe's wing span!
I loved the peacock!
She was saying, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed..."

At the park...(she LOVES the swings)
